Line moves fairly quick so don't be discouraged if the line is out the door - its a small space filled with a lot of interesting and unique meat you don't see at other butcher shops. “ Excellent neighborhood gem of a butcher shop. Everything is high quality, and they have the more unusual stuff other stores might not carry. (I even got a Whole Pig from them once! Super easy to work with, even for that weird request). I'd say their prices are reasonable compared to other local stores. Staff is helpful and friendly. Be Forewarned though, the store gets very busy around the holidays so plan in advance. ”

My partner and I wanted to make our annual new years steak cake, so thought it was the right opportunity to give Paisanos steak (dry aged porterhouse) and bacon a try. The selection of both fresh meats (both in terms of cuts and variety of game/poultry) and deli offerings (cold cuts, cheeses, prepared items) rivals anywhere else in NYC (maybe even unbeatable). The line moves quickly and it is worth the wait - the folks there are friendly and helpful, especially if you can describe what you want to make, they can help with what's the best cut and how much you should get. Definitely has the classic butcher shop and deli ambiance to it as well. Will be back again! ”

I am alway searching for something different and they have all of it. My favorite person is Rene' and Tony is awesome.
